1. Check the cable of the rod, door opener and door lock for deformation. When it is deformed, straighten it because failure operations may occur. When it is unrepairable, replace the front door latch and door lock actuator assembly.
2. Check the lever, rod and wire for smooth operation.
2. LOCK ACTUATOR (MODELS WITHOUT DOUBLE LOCK)
1. Disconnect the door lock actuator harness connector.
2. Connect the battery to door lock actuator terminals.
If defective, replace the front door latch and the door lock actuator assembly.

4. CHECK STATUS SWITCH (MODELS WITH SMART ACCESS)
1. Disconnect the front door latch harness connector.
2. Connect a tester to the front door latch status switch terminal.
3. Switch the front door actuator to lock or unlock.
4. Check for continuity using a tester.

If defective, replace the front door latch and the door lock actuator assembly.
5. CHECK DOOR KEY SWITCH (ONLY FOR DRIVER’S SEAT OF MODEL WITH DOUBLE LOCK, WITHOUT KEYLESS ACCESS)
1. Disconnect the door lock actuator harness connector.
2. Connect the tester to the terminal of the door key switch.
3. Change to LOCK or UNLOCK using the door key cylinder.
4. Check for the continuity using tester.
