1. Check that the switch clip (LHD: gray, RHD: green) is securely installed to the brake pedal bracket.

2. While pulling the brake pedal towards you, insert the stop light switch until it reached the stopper (brown) on the brake pedal side. Turn the stop light switch clockwise to install.

3. While pulling the brake pedal towards you, check that there is 0.5 — 2 mm (0.020 — 0.079 in) of free play.
4. Connect the stop light switch connector.
5. Check the brake light illumination.
NOTE:
Inspection and adjustment of the stop light switch gap is not necessary because it is automatically adjusted when installed.
