REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the right and left dust boots from the wheel cylinder.

2. Remove the piston, cup, spring and air bleeder screw and cap.

3. Clean the inside of wheel cylinder with brake fluid. Check the inside of the cylinder for damage, deformation and wear. Replace the complete wheel cylinder assembly if defective.

4. Apply a coat of brake fluid to the inner surface of the wheel cylinder and the cup.

5. Make sure that inner surface of the wheel cylinder, and the piston & cup are free of foreign material, and carefully insert the spring and piston & cup into the wheel cylinder, being careful not to damage the inner surface of the wheel cylinder.

6. Install the boot to the wheel cylinder.
