BRAKE > Rear Drum Brake Assembly

REMOVAL

CAUTION:

• Do not allow brake fluid to come in contact with vehicle body. If it does, wash off immediately with water and wipe away completely.

• If the wheel cylinder has any fault, replace the wheel cylinder assembly as a unit or repair using repair kit.

1. Lift up the vehicle, and remove the rear wheels.

2. Release the parking brake.

3. Remove the brake drum from brake assembly.

4. Remove the brake shoe.

5. Disconnect the brake hose.

6. Remove the rear hub unit bearing.

7. Remove the rear drum brake assembly.

8. Remove the bolt, and then remove the wheel cylinder assembly.
