1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

2. Remove the luggage floor mat.

3. Remove the strut cap of the quarter trim.

4. Lift up the vehicle, and then remove the rear wheels.

5. Disconnect the connector, and then remove the nut to remove the rear vehicle height sensor. (models with auto headlight beam leveler, left side only)

6. Remove the nut, and then separate the rear stabilizer link.

7. Remove the shock absorber lower bolt.

8. Separate the rear lateral link.

9. Remove the shock absorber mounting nut.

10. Remove the shock absorber.
