LUBRICATION(H4DO 1.5) > Engine Oil Cooler

REMOVAL

CAUTION:

If the engine oil is spilt over exhaust pipe, wipe it off with cloth to avoid emitting smoke or causing a fire.

NOTE:

The DOHC turbo MT model and DOHC non-turbo MT model (for EC and EK) are equipped with engine oil cooler.

1. Set the vehicle on a lift.

2. Lift up the vehicle.

3. Remove the under cover.

4. Drain engine coolant.

5. Remove the engine oil filter.

6. Remove the bolts (B) which install oil cooler pipe (A) onto oil pump.

7. Remove the oil cooler pipe (A) and oil cooler hose (C).

8. Remove the oil cooler connector (D) and remove the oil cooler (E).
