DTC P0414 SECONDARY AIR INJECTION SYSTEM SWITCHING VALVE “A” CIRCUIT SHORTED

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Immediately at fault recognition

CAUTION:

After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode and Inspection Mode

WIRING DIAGRAM:

1.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN ECM AND SECONDARY AIR COMBINATION VALVE RELAY.

1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF.

2) Disconnect the connector from ECM and secondary air combination valve relay.

3) Measure the voltage between ECM and chassis ground.

(B135) No. 15 (+) — Chassis ground (−):

Is the voltage 10 V or more?

Repair short circuit of the harness to power supply between ECM and secondary air combination valve relay.

Repair the poor contact of the ECM connector.
