• The function and operation of double locking system (single door lock motor type) is the same as that of the current 626 (GF) model. (European (L.H.D. U.K.) specs)

• The function and operation of power door lock system is the same as that of the current 323 (BJ) 5HB model.

• An answer back function has been adopted for the keyless entry system. (Except vehicles with theft-deterrent system) The function is the same as that of the current MX-5 (NB) model. (See Mazda MX-5 Workshop Manual Supplement 1698-1*-00H.)

• An auto lock function has been adopted for the keyless entry system. The function is the same as that of the current 626/626 Station Wagon (GF, GW) model. (See 626/626 Station Wagon Workshop Manual Supplement 1671-1*-99I.) (See 626/626 Station Wagon Workshop Manual Supplement 1670-10-99J.)
