Improved Air Conditioning Performance
• A refrigerant pressure switch with a middle pressure setting had been adopted. It facilitates condenser operation by increasing the cooling fan speed as necessary. (Australian, General (L.H.D.) specs. only)
• A sub-cooling system integrating the condenser and receiver-drier has been adopted to facilitate evaporator operation. This system also reduces the number of parts and the amount of refrigerant.
Improved Visibility
• To improve the windshield and front door glasses defogging, the front climate control unit is designed to automatically turn the air intake mode to FRESH when the airflow mode selector dial is turned to DEFROSTER position.
• The window defogging effect, when air volume is increased in HEAT mode, has been improved.
Reduce Weight
• In the A/C unit, an evaporator and a heater sore are built into the front system, and a blower motor, an evaporator, and heater core are built into the rear system.
• Rear airflow mode and air mix actuator with integrated airflow mode actuator and air mix actuator has been adopted to reduce weight. (with rear A/C (two dial type))
Improved Operability
• MODE and TEMP dial with integrated airflow mode dial and temperature control dial adopted. (with rear A/C (two dial type))
Improved Comfort
• An air filter can deodorize and remove pollen and dust.
• The water heater system has been adopted. (For MZR-CD (RF Turbo))
