SHIFT-LOCK SOLENOID (BUILT-IN SELECTOR LEVER) INSPECTION

Continuity Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the column cover.

3. Disconnect the connector.

4. Inspect for continuity between terminals G and H.

• If there is any malfunction, replace selector lever. (See SELECTOR LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5. Connect the connector.

6. Install the column cover.

7. Connect the negative battery cable.
