KEY INTERLOCK RESISTOR INSPECTION

Resistance Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Disconnect the key interlock resistor connector.

3. Inspect for resistance between terminals A and B.

• If not within the specification, replace the key interlock resistor. (See KEY INTERLOCK RESISTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.65-7.35 ohms

4. Connect the key interlock resistor connector.

5. Connect the negative battery cable.
