1. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.


1	Joint shaft (See Joint Shaft Disassembly Note.)
2	Dust seal (differential side)
3	Bearing (See Bearing Disassembly Note.)
4	Dust seal (drive shaft side)
5	Bracket
6	Dust cover

Joint Shaft Disassembly Note

1. Disassemble the joint shaft as shown in the figure.

Caution

• When disassembling the joint shaft, use a V block of adequate size to support the bearing inner race as well, otherwise the bearing inner race will be damaged and the bearing cannot be reused.

Bearing Disassembly Note

1. Remove the bearing using the SSTs and a press.

Caution

• Do not damage the rubber part of the dust cover.
