1. Remove the front pipe. (L3) (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3].)
Remove the front pipe and TWC. (AJ) (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AJ].)
Remove the flexible pipe. (MZR-CD (RF Turbo))(See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD (RF Turbo)].)
2. Remove the extension bar and change control rod. (L3 MTX only)
3. Remove the engine mount member.
4. Remove the steering gear and linkage. (See STEERING GEAR AND LINKAGE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
5. Remove the transverse member.
6. Remove the front lower arm.
7. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
9. Inspect the front wheel alignment if necessary.
1. Support the crossmember using a jack and remove the bolts and nuts.
2. Remove the crossmember component.
