PCM FUNCTION DISPLAY OPERATION [AJ]

Fuel injection amount signal
• After sending a standard signal, the PCM calculates the per-hour fuel injection amount (fuel injection time), converts it to a fuel consumption signal pulse, and sends it to the driver information system display. The greater the fuel injection amount (the longer the fuel injection time), the longer the signal remains on.

Engine coolant temperature signal
• Based on the signal from the ECT sensor, the PCM determines the on time of the duty signal and sends it to the instrument cluster. The higher the engine coolant temperature, the longer the signal remains on.
