• The driver can verify engine control information according to signals, outlined below, that the PCM sends to the instrument cluster.
Fuel injection amount signal
• The fuel injection amount signal is sent in order to display instantaneous and average fuel economy on the driver information system display.
Engine coolant temperature signal
• The PCM takes the signal from the engine coolant temperature sensor and sends it for display to the water temperature gauge.
