1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove the transverse member before removing the front pipe.
1. Remove the HO2S using the SST.
1. Disconnect the generator, but do not remove it from the vehicle. After disconnection, fix the generator using a rope to prevent it from falling.
1. Assemble the exhaust manifold gasket so that the painted surface faces the exhaust manifold side.
1. Tighten the exhaust manifold installation nuts in the order shown.
