SPECIFICATION IDENTIFICATION

BME000000000W05

• For RF-CDT vehicles explained in section 01, specification of the fuel injector (with/without calibration resistor) and PCM varies depending on the vehicle's production period. Refer to the following for service specification identification.

Identification

• Because the servicing procedure varies depending on the specification, "Type A" and "Type B" are explained separately.
Type A spec. and Type B spec. are not interchangeable, however, if a Type A spec. PCM is replaced with Type B spec., it will be interchangeable by programming the fuel injector code in the PCM.
In this case, it is described as "Type B" in the manual for convenience.
Note
• For a Type A spec. vehicle with a Type B spec. PCM, identification of the specification is not possible only by whether or not there is a calibration resistor.
• When servicing a vehicle, check the PCM part label or PCM part number (including suffix) using the WDS or equivalent and identify the specification.
