1. Rough cut area (A) and drill the 28 weld locations marked (B), then remove the lower part of the front pillar (outer).
2. When the front pillar is being removed, the side sill reinforcement may interfere and make removal difficult. Rough cut and drill sections marked (C), then remove the side sill reinforcement.
3. If the side sill reinforcement is not damaged, do not dispose of it, as it will be reused for installation. If it is damaged considerably, replace it with a new one.
4. Drill the 58 weld locations marked (D) to remove the outer and the reinforcement.
5. Rough cut the upper part of the front pillar and drill the 24 weld locations marked (E), then remove the front pillar (inner).
