1. Remove the following related parts before removing the step panel: side sill panel, side sill reinforcement, end plate, bottom of center pillar inner, bottom of center pillar reinforcement, C-pillar reinforcement (lower).
2. To facilitate removal of the step panel, rough cut the section marked (A), and bend the floor panel upward.
3. Rough cut the sections marked (B), and then drill the weld locations to remove the step panel.
