1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the third-row seat.
3. Turn over the weatherstrip from the liftgate side.
4. Turn over the weatherstrip from the sliding door side.
5. Remove the trunk end trim.
6. Remove the rear scuff plate.
7. Pull the cup holder upward, then disengage clips A and pin B from the trunk side trim, and remove the cup holder (right side only).
8. Remove the bolt and fastener.
9. Disconnect the accessory socket connector. (left side, with accessory socket only)
10. Disconnect the rear climate control unit connector. (right side, with rear A/C only)
11. Pull the trunk side trim toward you, then disengage clips C, pins D, and hooks E and F from the body.
12. Remove the trunk side trim.
13. Install in the reverse order of removal.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Turn the weatherstrip over. (Liftgate side and sliding door side).
3. Remove the mat set end plate.
4. Remove the rear scuff plate.
5. Pull the cup holder upward, then disengage clips A and pin B from the trunk side trim, and remove the cup holder (RH only).
6. Remove the bolts and fastener.
7. Pull the trunk side trim toward you, then disengage clips C, pin D, tabs E and F from the body.
8. Disconnect the rear climate control unit connectors and rear tweeter connectors. (Vehicles with rear tweeter)
9. Remove the trunk side trim.
10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
