SPEAKER CONNECTION INSPECTION

Car-navigation System

1. Turn the ignition switch to ACC position and then turn off the navigation unit.

2. First press the OUT button, then simultaneously press and the POWER/VOL. button.

3. Inspect the speaker connection according to the following table:

Does each speaker output sound for approx.1 second in the following order?
1. Left front door speaker and front tweeter
2. Right front door speaker and front tweeter
3. Right rear speaker and rear tweeter
4. Light rear speaker and rear tweeter
Yes
Wiring harness between speaker and car-navigation unit is okay.
No
Inspect the following parts:
• Malfunctioning speaker
• Wiring harness between malfunctioning speaker and car-navigation unit
