DTC 03 ERR01 OR 03:ER01


DTC 03 ERR01 or 03:Er01	CD player
DETECTION CONDITION	• CD player cannot implement insert and eject commands.
POSSIBLE CAUSE	• Defective CD (broken or foreign material stuck/attached) • CD player malfunction


STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	• Is CD able to be ejected?	Yes	Go to next step.
1	• Is CD able to be ejected?	No	Replace CD player.
2	INSPECT CD • Inspect condition of CD where error has occurred. • Is CD okay?	Yes	Go to next step.
2		No	Repair (remove foreign material) or replace CD, then go to next step.
3	INSPECT CD PLAYER • Clear DTC. • Insert and eject CD with no defect. • Start on-board diagnostic test mode. • Is DTC 03 ERR01 or 03:Er01 displayed?	Yes	Replace CD player.
3		No	Troubleshooting completed.
