REAR AIR MIX ACTUATOR INSPECTION

1. Remove the rear air mix actuator.

2. Connect battery positive voltage to terminal G and ground to terminal F, and battery positive voltage to terminal F and ground to terminal G of the rear air mix actuator.

3. Verify that the rear air mix actuator operates as shown below.


Connection		Movement
B+	GND	Movement
F	G	HOT→COLD
G	F	COLD→HOT

4. Verify that the resistance between the terminals of the rear air mix actuator is as shown in the graph.

• If not as specified, replace the rear air mix actuator.
