BME021428320W01

Caution
• Performing the following procedures without first removing the ABS wheel-speed sensor may possibly cause an open circuit in the harness if it is pulled by mistake. Before performing the following procedures, remove the ABS wheel-speed sensor (axle side) and fix it to an appropriate place where the sensor will not be pulled by mistake while servicing the vehicle.
• Be careful when using the jack to avoid damaging the brake pipe and hose.

1. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

2. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Torsion Beam Axle Removal Note

1. Hold the center of the torsion beam axle using a jack.

2. Jack down the torsion beam axle gradually, and remove the torsion beam axle.

Trailing Arm Bushing Removal Note

1. In order to set the installation position, mark the torsion beam axle in alignment with the small projection of the trailing arm bushing, as shown in the figure.

2. Press the trailing arm bushing out from the outer side of the trailing arm to the inner side using the SSTs.

Trailing Arm Bushing Installation Note

1. Set the trailing arm bushing by aligning the small projection with the mark, as shown in the figure.

2. Press the trailing arm bushing in from the inner side of the trailing arm to the outer side using the SSTs.

Lateral Rod Installation Note
