INJECTOR DRIVER MODULE (IDM) OPERATION [MZR-CD (RF Turbo)]
BME014018701T03
• The IDM amplifies the battery positive voltage input from the PCM control relay into high voltage of more than approximately 50 V via the high voltage generating circuit, and outputs it to the fuel injectors as a fuel injector drive signal.

• When fuel injection signals are input from the PCM to the IDM, the IDM drives the fuel injectors at high voltage and starts injector operation for a short interval. When the fuel injectors start operating, the IDM maintains a constant current.
• While the fuel injectors are operating, the IDM detects the fuel injector drive current and outputs fuel injection confirmation signals (injector operating status) to the PCM.
