1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the engine coolant. (See COOLING SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS.)(See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [MZR-CD (RF Turbo)].)
3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
5. Refill the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [MZR-CD (RF Turbo)].)

1. Verify that the positions of the jiggle pin and the projection on the gasket are as shown in the figure.
2. Install the thermostat into the thermostat case, aligning the projection on the gasket to the thermostat cover.
