Chery Tiggo 7 background information

The first generation (2016-2020)

The car debuted at the Beijing Motor Show in April 2016 and went on sale on the Chinese market on September 12, 2016. In Europe, the Tiggo 7 debuted in September 2017 at the IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt am Main. The car is built on the T1X platform and is one step above the Tiggo 5. The crossover is 4505 mm long, 1837 mm wide and 1670 mm high with a wheelbase of 2670 mm. Clearance is 190 mm. Luggage compartment 400 liters.

The FLY version, based on the Qoros Model Young concept, features a modified grille and front bumper, as well as decorative overlays on the sills.

Second generation (from 2020)

In December 2019, the serial Chery Tiggo 7 of the second generation debuted, which will go on sale in the Chinese market on February 18, 2020. The car is offered in two versions: a regular crossover with 2.0 engines (122 hp 180 Hm) with a variator or 1.5 TCI (156 hp, 230 Nm), 6-speed. Manual or robot, Pro version, equipped with a 1.6 TGDI supercharged engine (197 hp, 290 Nm) and a 7-speed robotic gearbox.

The standard Tiggo 7 differs externally from the Tiggo 7 Pro version of the radiator grille: “solar galaxy” versus “geometric matrix”. The dimensions of both are the same: length – 4500 mm, width – 1842 mm, height – 1746 mm, wheelbase – 2670 mm.
